This july security patch is expected to fix common bugs and vulnerability issues in both the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge. It is advisable to install this update as soon as you receive the notification as it would help your phone to be safe from malwares and adwares.

If you have not received the notification yet. You can manually check for it from the system updates under the about phone section in the settings app. It is recommended that you should have atleast 50% charge and a stable WiFi connection before you download and install the update.
