Samsung rolling out an update to fix Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ call issues

Samsung’s latest flagship duos, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ were reportedly facing call issues since the smartphones were launched back in March this year. Samsung has just started rolling out an update which is aimed to fix call issues on both the smartphones. Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ got recently updated with April security patch, however, the call stability issues were still persisting on the devices.

The latest update comes with build number G960FXXU1ARD4 and G965FXXU1ARD4 for Galaxy S9 and S9+ respectively. Samsung will be rolling out the update in several phases and therefore, it may take sometime to reach your device depending on your region.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ users were facing call drop and mute issues while on the call. Some users also reported distortion issues making it difficult for them to hear what other person is saying. Samsung has finally understood the plight of users facing this major issue and started rolling out an update with call stability improvements.

Samsung will be rolling out an OTA fix and you could expect it in the days to come. In order to check the update manually, you can always head to Settings > Software update > Download update manually. This update would definitely resolve the call issues on your Galaxy S9/S9+.
