Samsung starts rolling out AR Emoji and Super Slow motion recording to Galaxy Note 8. Wasting no time Samsung starts rolling out the same features to its Galaxy S8 and S8+ via an OTA Update.

The update brings the firmware version to C950FXXU4CRI5 for the S8 and G955FXXU4CRI5 for the S8+. The update weighs about 553 MB in size. Along with the above mentioned features, the update also packs with the Android Security patch for the month of September 2018. Samsung also improves the over all performance of both the devices.

Moreover, Galaxy Note 9 also gets the Android security patch for the month of September in Europe. Note 9 update comes with the firmware version N960FXXS2ARH6 and it weighs abut 72 MB in Size. The September security patch consists of 64 fixes released by Google for Android this month. Samsung adds 18 improvements to this itself. 

All the update are rolling out as OTA. So don’t panic if the update notification is not popped up on your device display. It will reach you in couple of days time. You can also check it manually by going through the settings>> about phone>> software updates.
