Samsung has introduced new Gear VR alongside its Galaxy Note 7 on the 2nd of August. The New Samsung Gear VR will be compatible with Galaxy Note 7 and also with the previous flagships of the company. Pre-orders for Note 7 has started last week and now Samsung Gear VR is also up for Pre-orders on Amazon. However, both these devices shipping will start on August 19th 2016.
The New Gear VR supports the USB Type-C and Micro USB port connection to the Galaxy Note7, S7, S7 edge, Note5, S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ unfortunately there is no compatibility with the older phones of Samsung. It’s also more comfortable to wear then the previous one.
