Smartphone manufacturers are now finding new and quirky ways to incorporate in their teasers for their new devices and looks like Gionee has added to the list. Gionee is now sending out invites for their event on 22nd August which will be held in India. The invitation, which is shown below s in the style of the invitation for a movie premiere.

The image also contains the phrase “#Selfiewithflash” which more than suggests that the phone will be a selfie focused device and will come with front a front LED. While there is no news about which device will be unveiled at the event, sources say the device in question will come from the S series. The S series smartphones feature nice front camera with beautification features in the camera UI. Which device do you think will be unveiled at the event?
