Skype brings “Stories”, Highlights, GIFs, New UI, sharing options in a new update

How Skype can be left behind in bringing the Stories feature for its users, After snapchat, Facebook introduced it then came the Instagram and now is the time for Skype. Skype is here with Stories, GIFs, New User Interface and much more.

skype upgradeTHe new update is going to hit in next 12 hours and will be available from the respective stores.

Skype has come up with many new changes, out which Highlights is also one. It allows you to follow a week’s worth of photos posted by friends and family. Further, you can respond to those highlights by Stockers, emoticons, etc. Now you can change the background of the chat as like of the Google Allo.

The chat screen has been divided into three tabs called Find, Chat and Capture. The Skype is giving sharing from other apps in Find tab, you can search your content on the web without leaving the Skype app. for eg, you can find YouTube content without leaving the Skype App.

Chat tab allows you to chat with the stickers, emoticons, GIFs and text with your contacts. In Capture, you and take pictures, videos and can add stickers, emojis etc to it.

Skype is giving you a fresh new look for a group chat, now the details are much clearer and you can use it after the update.

The update is going live by today on Android, Web and iOS devices.
