Snapchat users would be now able to access a new feature dubbed as Context Cards. Right on cue, the U.S. based social media platform developed the feature so as to take the messenger back in track. After all, the strong competition imparted by other instant messaging app such as Whatsapp had negatively impacted the business of Snapchat.
Well, let us look onto the utility that Snap users could get with this new feature, Context Text. The official Snapchat page says: Today we’re announcing a new way to learn more about what you see on Snapchat. Clearly, the new ado to Snapchat displays information about the Snap we’re viewing.
Basically, the Context Cards tab can be summoned by swiping up from the bottom to view contextual information about the location of the sender, while viewing a snap or stories on the Snapchat. So, providing extra geographical details about the Snaps. Moreover, the Context Cards also provide a way to take simple actions like calling for a ride with Uber. It contains material from various partners such as TripAdvisor, Foursquare, and Michelin and other services such as Lyft or OpenTable.
By now, the feature seems to be live for all most all Snaps users. If not, try to update the Snapchat app to latest version.
