Long back in 2016 Snapchat has released its new gadget called as Spectacles in the market, but unfortunately, the brand has only sold 2,20,000 pairs. Snapchat has expected larger sales of the spectacles V1 due to which later they have to suffer a great amount of loss. Now again Snapchat is trying their luck in the spectacles department by launching the V2 of the Spectacles. This new pair of glasses is equipped with more potential, improved functions and much more. So without wasting any time let’s check out more about it.

Snapchat Spectacles V2 features

These second-generation Spectacles possess somewhat similar design to that of the version one but they simply feel more practical and convenient. According to Snapchat, the new glasses are more comfortable and lighter even though they look identical to the version one. With this new pair of glasses, you can capture images and can take videos as well, this time this all can be achieved in HD resolution. Videos recorded will be in 1216 x 1216 resolution while photos are captured in 1642 x 1642 pixels.

One of the most mighty features is that now you can even take videos and photos underwater, glasses can survive up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Which means taking it for surfing would be unfair but they will work perfectly fine in pool parties and rain dance. It syncs with your phone by just using Bluetooth and the videos/images transfer is now 4 times faster compared to the old version of spectacles. These glasses are priced at $150 which is $20 expensive than the old version. Considering its new and refined features $20 more wouldn’t be a trouble here.

V2 Spectacles have a better battery life and can deliver 70 videos on a single charge, its case size is more compact now which makes it easy to carry while traveling. The glasses are available in a variety of colors including Ruby(Red), Sapphire(Blue) and Onyx(Black). Forget Amazon and other places as this time V2 Spectacles are only available through Snapchat’s app and website.
