Qualcomm launches Snapdragon 720G, 662 and 460 chipsets for all-segment devices

Qualcomm is a big chipset manufacturer in the smartphone world. It powers most of the powerful and high-end Android smartphones. The smartphone manufacturers prefer Qualcomm, especially for their flagship devices. In a bid to bring more variety to cater to the ever-increasing competitive market, the chipset maker has introduced Snapdragon 720G, Snapdragon 662 and Snapdragon 460.

Snapdragon 720G

All three chipsets are aimed to bring better performance, enhanced gaming abilities, and boost battery efficiency. Precisely, the Snapdragon 720G features high-quality synchronized sound with Qualcomm aptX Adaptive. It comes with an octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 2.3GHz. It is built on 8nmprocess and coupled an Adreno 618 GPU, Spectra 350L image signal processor with support up to 192 MP and video recording of 4K @30 fps.

Further, it hosts a Snapdragon X15 LTE modem with 800 Mbps download and 300 Mbps upload speed. There will be a Dual VoLTE connectivity, WiFI 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 support. It features a Quick Charge 4.0 capability.

Snapdragon 662

The chipset features an Octa-Core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2GHz, Adreno 610 GPU, Spectra 340T image signal processor, Snapdragon X11 LTE modem, Dual VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. Snapdragon 662 features a Quick Charge 3 fast charging.

Snapdragon 460 

It hosts an 11nm based octa-core processor having 1.8GHz clocking speed. Snapdragon 460 houses an Adreno 61- GPU, Spectra 340 image signal processor, Snapdragon X11 LTE modem, Dual VoLTE, WiFI 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. The chipset supports Quick Charge 3.

All these chipsets are compatible with 4G LTE connections. It will provide a better gaming experience at an affordable price.
