Sony rolls out first update for Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact

Sony has been an amazing developer-friendly Android phone maker. The Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact were launched at the end of August at IFA 2017 in Berlin.

Sony mobile has started to come up with their first firmware update. This update is for Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact. The update moved from the build number 47.1.A.2.324 to version 47.1.A.2.374. It is a security update that brings changes along Android security patches for the month of October.

These smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. It has 4GB of RAM and 2700 mAh battery capacity. The XZ1 has the 5.2-inch screen and 1080p HDR display and it also has 64GB of storage while the Compact has 32 GB storage. Both the smartphones run on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. Both the phones are featured with Gorilla Glass.

There is a small change which includes the latest October 1st, 2017 Android security patches. Currently, there are no details about the other changes. If there is any change, it will be updated.

The case with OTA rolls outs, it may take some time. The update notification will show on your device and it may take some time. So, you all have to keep patience.
