Sony starts rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo Update on its Xperia X Performance. Xperia X Performance comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. However, recently sony rolled out Oreo update on its Sony Xperia XZ and XZs.

Coming back to this, it weighs around 1254 MB in size. This OTA brings latest November security patch for the device along with Android 8.0 Oreo. The update is packed with all the features of Oreo such as Smart Text Selection, Xperia Action, reminders, redesigned app shortcuts, auto-fill and much more.
However, the update is rolling out all over the world over the air. So don’t panic if it does not appear on your phone right away. The update will reach you in next couple of days. meanwhile you can always check it by going through the settings>>about phone>> software updates.
While downloading make sure you are on Wifi network as it is a large update. Before start installing the update make sure you charged your phone at least up to 50%. Coming to other flagship devices like Galaxy S8 and S8+, both them are still on Oreo beta testing. We might see the OTA for them very soon.
