Sony has launched another masterpiece from its bag, its named as Sony Xperia Z1 (Honami) with 8.5 mm in thickness. Its packed with 5-inch 1080p Triluminos display and its housed in a “solid one-piece aluminium frame” having dimensions of 144 x 74 x 8.5mm, and it weighs 170 gms.
Sony Xperia Z1 houses a large 1/2.3″ sensor which is about 70% larger than the sensors on most phones and Sony achieved it without a hump on the back like most other handsets with large sensors.
Its camera includes sensor of 20.7MP and its technical specs are F/2.0 Sony G Lens, a Sony Exmor RS sensor and a Sony BIONZ image processor. It can record 1080p videos.
It has a new, higher-quality screen and it packs the latest Snapdragon 800 chipset running a Sony-customized version of Android 4.3.
It’s supported or include a 3000 mAh battery, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and NFC.
It’ll ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and Sony is loading up the phone with its own suite of software including the “Social live” app which lets you live-stream video from your camera to the internet. Furthermore, “every Xperia Z1” purchase in Germany and other European markets will come with about 100 Euro worth of free Sony content.
There’s also 4G LTE support.
It will be start shipping available this month in Black, White and Purple.
