ASUS has yet to bring its next wave of flagships this year but the stage is set for an August 17 release. Further more we are going to see 4 new models or variants. Initially, it was 5, but now we have seen the ZenFone 4 Max in Russia. Today new info is trickling out regarding the other 4 models. We don’t know a whole lot but there are some interesting details.
The cream of the crop will be the ZenFone 4 Pro that will the sport the Snapdragon 835 chipset and dual cameras as well. The “ZenFone 4” will have 2 variants. One of them will come with the new Snapdragon 660 chipset + 6 GB RAM while the other will have a Snapdragon 630 chipset + 4 GB RAM. Again, here too, buyers will be treated to a dual rear camera. And lastly, the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro will obviously sport dual front cameras instead of dual rear cameras. And the pixel resolution of the twins is reported to be 12 MP + 12 MP.
Other than that, we don’t know a lot of things regarding the new series. Especially, how the device will look and what battery capacity it will have. But we’re simply looking at a 1-week window before the mystery will be uncovered.
