Sprint HTC 10 starts getting Android Oreo Update

HTC 10 is the flagship Android Phone form 2016. In 2016 HTC 10 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box which is very nice for the users. Mo Versi the vice president of product management of HTC announced the update on Twitter.

According to the Mo Versi the OTA will starts rolling out from today onwards. The update is packed with all the goodies of Android 8.0 Oreo. Which includes Picture in Picture mode, auto fill, notification channels, new revamped settings app, new notification center and several others.

As this is an OTA update it will take some time to reach each and every user. However, you can also check the update manually by going through the settings>>about phone>> software updates.

Note: As it is a large update connect to WiFi network before downloading the update. Moreover, charge your phone upto at least 50% before installing the update.

For a reminder HTC 10 is packed with 5.2-inch Super LCD 5 display with curved-edge Gorilla Glass and display has a 2560 x 1440 resolution, it is powered with 2.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB of RAM, 32/64GB of on-board storage which can be upgraded upto 2TB via microSD. HTC 10 have 12MP HTC UltraPixel 2 (1.55µm pixel size) with laser autofocus, OIS and f/1.8 aperture at the back and 5MP (1.34µm pixel size) with OIS and f/1.8 aperture on the front.
