Yesterday, Samsung hit the news column with the announcement of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Fan Edition. Today, it is again here with with a different update. Earlier in the last week of June the Verizon-branded Samsung mobiles got the security patch updates for the month of June. Now, it’s time for T-Mobile users with Samsung S7 and S7 Edge mobiles to receive the security patches updates.
The new update occupies around 357 MB of memory for Samsung S7 Edge users and around 355 MB for Samsung S7 users. While updating the apps, users won’t be able to use their device. The update will take a maximum time of 10 minutes. User will be provided with three options like Install Now, Install Later and Install Overnight. We recommend our viewers to select ‘Install Overnight’ for minimal discomfort.
This update will end up taking the Samsung S7 users to the software version of G930TUVS4BQE1 and Samsung S7 Edge users to the software version of G935TUVU4BQF6 soon after the update.
The new security patch update is critical for Samsung S7 and S7 Edge on T-Mobile users as their devices are running with powerful Snapdragon 820 processor. This update brings critical fix to Qualcomm’s Bluetooth driver.
Any failure during the update leads to very unpleasant side effects like hard brick, phone not turning on etc. Make sure that your phone charging is more than 75% before you install this update, else fatal outcomes are highly expected.
