For a long time now, Gionee has been focusing on the M-series smartphones which have really big batteries. The recently released M6 and M6- Plus were two such smartphones which boasted of 5000 mAh and 6000 mAh batteries respectively.

While these two smartphones do last really big on their enormous batteries, they are sized at 5.5-inch and 6 inch respectively. It was time Gionee came up with a compact smartphone with a large battery and it seems that have done so.
If reports are to be believed, Gionee M6 Mini will soon be out in the market. The device was recently spotted at TENAA which ic the Chinese equivalent of the FCC, an organization that certifies smartphones. The devices features a 5.3 inch display with a 13 MP camera on the back, a 5 MP camera on the front and a 4,000 mAh battery amongst other features.
