In this latest update Google added ability to auto load images along with unnamed bug fixes. After the upgrade, Gmail auto image loading will be automatically enabled and if you want to turn it off you can by jumping to settings and turn things on and off. For desktop users, Google has already delivered this feature a while ago.
There’s also one new security feature which Google promised in December for all versions of the Gmail. Now all the images on the Gmail will passed from its own proxy servers now, which means email senders can’t use images for malicious purposes. Struggling to make Gmail Productive?
