Verizon Expanding its 4G LTE Network, Announces New LTE Cities

Verizon Wireless has announced that residents of:

  • Dothan and Enterprise, AL
  • Naples, FL
  • Greenville, NC
  • Altus and Durant, OK
  • Longview/Marshall, TX

will get 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network starting March 15 , said to be the largest 4G LTE network in the country, according to a release from the company.

Expansions:
  • Washington, D.C.
  • Elkhart, Ind.
  • Baltimore, Md.
  • Columbus, Miss.
  • Northern N.J.
  • Wilmington, N.C.
  • Duncan, Okla.
  • Allentown/Bethlehem, Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Scranton/Wilkes Barre, Pa.
  • Hilton Head, S.C.
  • Cleveland, Tenn.
  • Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas
  • Kenosha, Madison and Milwaukee, Wis.

Verizon also set to double its LTE Market in 2012
