Verizon Galaxy S20 5G UW, Moto Z3, G Stylus starts getting June 2020 Security Update

Verizon has started rolling out the latest security for Samsung Galaxy S20 5G UW, Moto Z3, and Moto G Stylus. The latest update patches the latest June 2020 Security patches on all these devices. Additionally, Samsung S20 5G UW gets a few system-level enhancements along with the update.

Samsung Galaxy S20 5G UW

The firmware version G981VSQU1ATEA will patch the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G UW to the June security patch. Samsung has specified additional improvements for the system UI but hasn’t mentioned the specifics of the update in the changelog. The device is already up for pre-orders on Verizon and will be available from June 4  on the latest Samsung’s One UI.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 5G UW is an updated version from Verizon. It will work on Verizon’s latest Ultra-wideband 5G network out of the box. It is also expected to connect on to Verizon’s low band 5G later this year. With this device, Samsung along with Verizon aims to be a leader in 5G with ultra-fast connectivity and near Zero load times.

Moto Z3 and G stylus

Similarly, Verizon is rolling out an update to  Moto Z3, and G stylus. The firmware versions PDXS29.84-51-11-2 and QPR30.80-58-1-3 will patch the above devices to May 2020 Security patch respectively. Apart from the security patch, the latest update doesn’t have any other significant changes to the device.

Moto Z3 is a flagship from two years back. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 3,000mAh battery, 6.01″ AMOLED notch-less display. It has a single 12MP and 8MP front and rear cameras. The device is running on Android Pie as users wait for the Android 10 update.

Moto G stylus, on the other hand, is a budget device. The device has a hole-punch display with a 6.4″ FHD LCD panel. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with 4GB RAM, 128GB storage. The device has a 48MP equipped quad-camera setup. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie shooter. The device runs on Moto’s UI based on Android 10.
