Verizon clocked, Moto Z Force Droid and Moto Z both are receiving the May 2017 Security Patch. The update consists all the security fixes and patches that were addressed by Google developers in April. The update is live via OTA (Over The Air) and currently no details about the changelog is available.
It will take some time for update to rollout to all the Moto Z Force Droid and Moto Z in the United States. After the update the Software build will get to the version NCL25.86-11.4. Verizon is suggesting to charge up your device before installing the update. Also, switch to WiFi Network as it may cost additional charge on your cellular network if your limit is crossed.
Additionally, The Moto Z Droid Edition and Moto Z Force Droid Edition packs a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED displays and are powered by the Snapdragon 820. They have similar RAM of 4GB with 32 GB of internal storage option. Only camera differs in both the devices, MOto Z Force Droid packs 21-megapixel rear shooter while the other features a 13MP main sensor. There’s little difference batteries capacity in both the devices.
Already the May Security patch is out for various devices. Namely, Samsung Galaxy J5 2015, Galaxy S8 and S8+ in India and Note 4. All the above devices from Smasung have received the patches for this month.
