Verizon is Planning to double its LTE Market in 2012. Verizon Wireless already has the largest 4G LTE network which now covers 200 million Americans delivering speedsof up to 12Mbps on the downlink, it appears that Big Red won’t settle on this that’s why their aim is higher. David Small, Verizon’s chief technical officer, also revised the company’s coverage estimate from 250 million to 260 million Americans by year’s end, noting that Alaska would be the only state without LTE service by that time. Sound good, Verizon folk? It’s great to hear that Verizon is dedicated to continuing the rollout of its 4G LTE coverage throughout 2012, even though it’s got a fairly sizable footprint already.
