Worldwide Consumer Electronics Trends of 2013: Android Gains 5 Spots in Top Ten

Today Google made its Google Zeitgeist 2013 live with trends of 2013 in all fields globally and country wise. Google has a Consumer Electronics section in which you’ll find four popular Android devices, with two of them included in the top 5, the Galaxy S4 and the Nexus 5.

IN top ten of the Consumer Electronics report, the first spot is of iPhone 5s which was launched couple of months ago. There’s one another Apple device on the list at 6th place is iPad Air. Don’t worry Androidians!! As most of the Spots are covered by Android devices and in exact total of 5 devices are on the top ten list.

Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is at 2nd place in the category making it the most searched Android device of the 2013. It was launched by Samsung in May at an event in New York’s Times Square. Samsung also launched its different variants like Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S4 Zoom and few others.

Next up in the line is Play Station 4 ahead of Xbox one at place 3rd.

Fifth place is again of and Android device which was launched this year in month of October along with the  new Android 4.4 Kitkat. Guess? Yes, its Nexus 5. This was the most awaited device of 2013 as everyday a new rumor was given birth before the launch.

Next up is HTC One with its revolutionary design.

Finally Blackberry’s Z10 also managed to make its place in the Top 10 list at number 8th.

Another Android Device which made its place is Galaxy Note 3 at 9th which was launched with Galaxy Gear.

Nokia is also in the game with Nokia 1020 at the 10th spot.

From the Trends in 2013 it seems that Android is on the top of tree in Consumer Electronics with 5 devices in the top 10 list from Google.

Apple is also luring new customers. Also Blackberry and Nokia is coming back in to the game after couple of years. It seems that Nokia’s Lumia series id going to get huge share in the market next year in 2014.
