Almost every second day some new information is dropping on the internet about the forthcoming Pocophone smartphone. Recently the sub-brand of Xiaomi comes into headlines due to its appearance on multiple social platforms and this time we are back with some more interesting information. Pocophone has just revealed a poster on which the Indian launch date of the device is clearly mentioned, so without making any further delay let’s know more about it.
According to the disclosed poster, Pocophone is holding an event in India on the 22nd of August at Delhi. The brand is teasing their device as a powerhouse and according to them it will gonna be “Master of Speed”. As suggested by the previous revelation the device will come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-Core processor coupled with optional 6GB/8GB of RAM. The device is expected to cost lesser compared to the existing Xiaomi flagships(Mi8, Mi Mix 2s).
The handset at some level does resemble us of the OnePlus 6 specifically from the rear panel. POCO brand is currently under the control of Jai Mani(Product Manager Xiaomi India). The smartphone will come with a mammoth 5.99(inch) Full HD+ Display with a noticeable chin and a notch. Pocophone F1 will come with a 12MP+5MP Dual-Camera setup in the rear whereas in the front a gigantic 20MP shooter has been provided. The device will house a 4000mAh battery and to treat it well a USB Type-C port has been provided. Just after the Indian launch, Pocophone will make its way to the European market.
