Xiaomi is expected to launch Redmi note 2 in India this Month. Successor to Redmi 1s, Redmi 2 was launched in China on January 15 with price tag of approximately Rs 6,800.
A report by Times Of India revels that recently, Company has started a word puzzle on Indian Facebook page.  In this game, if participant is able to find three words, he/she will qualify the game. Qualifiers will get priority to access passes to buy companies’ upcoming Smartphone. Words like ‘expandable’ and ’snapdragon’ in this puzzle suggests that company is all set to launch Redmi 2 in India. Mi notes doesn’t not have expandable memories and this fact points towards the launch of Redmi 2.  What makes us predict its launch this month is the closing date of this Facebook even which is March 11.
Let’s take a brief look at features of this device as launched in China. Redmi 2 will run on Android 4.4 MIUI 6.0 software. Powered with  64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, this device will have 1 GB RAM and internal storage of 8GB (expandable to 32GB via microSD card ). With display of 5 inch, device will include 2 MP front camera and battery power of 2,200 mAh. For faster charging, device includes QuickCharge 1.0 technology.
