Xiaomi has slashed the price of Mi 5 by ₹2000 in India. Earlier it was sold at the price of ₹24,999 and now after the discount Mi 5 available to buy for ₹22,999. Moreover, It is the permanent price cut for this phone in the country. A couple of days ago Samsung has also slashed the prices of both its Flagship devices Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge by ₹5,000 in the country.

Just for reminder Xiaomi Mi 5 is powered by a Quad-Core Snadpragon 820 processor and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with two-tone LED flash and 4 megapixel front camera. It is also packed with USB Type-C port and a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, fingerprint sensor is present and phone also has a 3D glass body with strong glass. The Smartphone is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of Internal Storage. Xiaomi Mi 5 also has UFS 2.0 storage which is said to offer 87 per cent faster read write speed than eMMC 5.0 storage which is found in other smartphones.
Coming to connectivity options includes a WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.2, Quick Charge 3.0 , USB Type C and NFC. The handset measures 144.5×69.2×7.25mm and weighs 129 grams.
