Xiaomi Mi 7 is one of the most anticipated smartphone of the year 2018. After all it is flagship smartphone of Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi. Back in December last year, Xiaomi said that they will unveil Mi 7 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor at MWC 2018. But according to some new rumors, the company will unveil Mi Mix 2s instead of Mi 7 at MWC 2018 and will introduce Mi 7 in separate event in April 2018 because of some unknown reasons.
A leaked screenshot of Mi 7 confirms 8 GB of RAM, massive 4480 mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. According to various rumors, the smartphone will have dual-camera setup at the rear with two 16 MP cameras. Xiaomi Mi 7 features a 5.6 inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio (following 2018 trend), 128 GB internal storage capacity. It is yet to confirm that the storage will be further expandable or not. The screenshot also confirms that Mi 7 will run on MIUI 8.1.30 x.
At least on paper, Xiaomi Mi 7 specifications look up to date with 2018 standard to compete with upcoming flagship smartphones from Samsung (Galaxy S9, S9+), OnePlus (OnePlus 6),Sony, Lenovo and HTC. Mi 7 will be massive upgrade over the Mi 6 (company’s 2017 flagship smartphone) in terms of RAM, memory, display and battery capacity. Xiaomi recently updated 40 devices, including some 5 years old Mi phones to MIUI 9.
