Xiaomi announced the Mi 9 SE alongside the Mi 9 in February. The phone shares the same design except for different internals. However, the camera setup is a bit similar to its bigger counterpart. Thus, Xiaomi has managed to bring Moon mode in the latest update for Mi 9 SE.
The Chinese tech giant is well-known for their low priced flagship smartphones. Their Mi series has been a hit since its introduction. Starting last year, Xiaomi added new SE model to their Mi series with Mi 8 SE being the first. This year’s Mi 9 SE is one of the compelling smartphones for its price. The new Moon mode in the latest update which is being now rolled out is like an icing on the cake.
The new update for the Mi 9 SE increments the MIUI version to 10.3.10. The update brings several minor changes which are mostly improvements except for the Moon Mode in the camera app. The update weighs at 568MB and is being pushed to MIUI 10 China Stable users. Hopefully, the same will be rolled out to Global Stable users too.
If you have updated your Mi 9 SE to the latest update, then you can experience the Moon mode in the camera app. To do so, point your phone’s camera to the moon and turn on AI mode. Now, zoom till the phone can recognize the moon and change settings automatically according to it. Now just tap on the shutter icon to get a clearer picture of the moon.
