Xiaomi Mi A3 has started receiving the May 2020 security patch update in some parts of Europe. After continuously barging-out the Mi A3 European ROM from Android 10 update list for a long time, the users received the latest Android version just a month ago. However, Xiaomi appears to be picking a pace for its European ROMs as Mi A3 has received a second update of this month consisting May 2020 Security patch.
It’s the first udpate since the Android 10 rollout in Europe. The update brings fixes for all the prominent security loopholes and issues that were listed last month on Google community forums. It will improve the overall security of the system and enhances stability. There’s also a fix for the Xiaomi camera shutterbug. A few days ago the global Mi A3 variant received the same update.
The adapt is rolling out in a staged manner, which means it will be available for a few random users, and upon successful verification of the update, a wider rollout will begin. The firmware version 22.214.171.124 QFQEUXM on Mi A3 with the codename laurel_sprout is also available for manual installation.
