Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 appears on Geekbench, green and ‘Forbidden City’ variants appears hours before launch

Xiaomi is on the verge of launching Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 at an event in Bejing, China tomorrow at 14:00 hours (Beijing Time). Xiaomi was rumoured to carry Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 but the recent Geekbench benchmark have made it clear that it will ship with Snapdragon 845. Xiaomi has added many other features in the latest Mi Mix series device.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Specs

As per the teasers and reports, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will carry a slider design with a full-screen display. It will feature a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Further, it will be the world’s first device to commercially launch with 5G support. Xiaomi is also citing it as the world’s first to host 10 GB RAM.

There are plenty of improvements that can be seen in its camera. Today, Xiaomi posted a camera sample taken in the night environment with Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 camera. As watching it gives us a hint that Xiaomi has improved camera a lot as there was no noise and the whole photo was detailed at the very edge.

The bezel-less handset is expected to carry some new variants such as green coloured and “Forbidden City” variant. Talking about the Geekbench scores, then on a single core test, it scored 2385 while running on multi-core it shoots up 8630 points. Overall, it is a good performing device with high-end specs, new design, beautiful camera and new technologies such as 5G.
