Xiaomi Mi8’s retail packaging got leaked, reveals design and specs of the device

Xiaomi has already confirmed that there Mi 8 and MIUI 10 will be unveiled at an event on 31st of May. Whole tech community including us are excited about it, however, to feed that curiosity day by day new leaks are coming. This time a few images associated with the device’s retailing packaging are leaked and according to us, they possess enough details to help us know more about it. So without wasting any time let’s get to the facts and figures.

Analyzing previous leaks we can surely say that the device looks deeply inspired by the iPhone X and this time the leak confirms it. In the above posted retail packaging leak, a Blue colored device is visible which looks replica of the iPhone X. The device has a notch, a bezel-less screen, Dual-rear Camera(vertically arranged). Along with these, it will come with an In-Screen Fingerprint Scanner too. Some other retail packaging images are there and considering them the above-posted image looks more like a poster.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Specs

The retail packaging shows the Mi8 variant with 6GB RAM+64GB ROM which according to us is the basic one. It says the device comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, Dual-GPS, etc. The device is said to come with a 20MP selfie Camera along with a 3D Infrared Face Recognition technology. The device is expected to come with MIUI 10 out of the box based on Android 8.1.0 Oreo. As per the rumors price of the device will be $470. The handset might feature a Glass design similar to that of the Huawei P20.

It’s design is familiar with devices like OnePlus 6, iPhone X, Oppo A83  and Vivo X21.
