What is YouTube Giving ?

YouTube has now developed a new kind of tool known as the “YouTube Giving” which they are offering to selected creators and qualifying US-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits. This suite includes a number of exclusive features like Super chat for Good, Fundraisers, Community Fundraisers, Campaign matching, etc. It will be basically provided to those non-profit organizations for whom getting donations was not an easy task.

With this, they can collect donations with zero investment on any physical location. Having access to this non-profit companies can create fundraising campaigns and can easily spread it through videos by embedding. Community Fundraisers allow multiple creators to gather and help the organization get donations by spreading essential info like cause, needs, etc.

YouTube will also gonna help those organizations as it will cover all transaction fees for the donations and logistical part of it is also handled by YouTube. This tool is currently available in countries including Canada, U.S, while there is no information about the future plans. For more tech updates stay tuned to GoAndroid.
