ZOPO Flash X1 and Flash X2 are the cheapest bezel-less phones launched in India

ZOPO, a lesser known Shenzhen-based smartphone maker has just launched the cheapest bezel-less display phones in India. Now, we have seen Chinese phone makers like Bluboo copy the Infinity Display of the Galaxy S8 and sell them at very low prices. But ZOPO is first in India with such a low price tag. It even beats the recent Micromax Infinity priced at Rs 9,999.

ZOPO’s new duo handsets are labelled Flash X1 and Flash X2 and are priced Rs 6,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively. The duo was unveiled at the IFA 2017 tech show in Berlin in August.

“First ones to bring deca-core, first ones to bring the cheapest dual camera, now first ones to bring cheapest 18:9 technology for the masses. We are always keen for bringing innovating to the masses.”, said Mr Sanjeev Bhatia, CEO, ZOPO Mobile India.

ZOPO says they have loaded the smartphones with a MediaTek Quad-core processor assisted by 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of ROM. The difference between them lies in the size of the display which is also the USP of the two ZOPO phones. The Flash X2 has a 5.99 HD IPS display while the Flash X1 has a 5.5-inch display. The displays seem to have 2.5D curved glass protection but at the moment we can’t confirm that. Also, ZOPO is calling it a Infinity Display, it doesn’t have curved edges. At least that’s how it appears in the videos. However, they do claim it has an 83% screen to body ratio.

The front has an 8 MP primary camera and a 5 MP selfie camera with bokeh effects and a beauty mode. Both the handsets come with Android 7.0 Nougat. The smaller Flash X1 has a 2500 mAh battery while the Flash X2 has a 3380 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it comes packed with a dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n.

ZOPO plans to sell the Flash X1 and Flash X2 through online channels as it is talking with sellers for an exclusive partnership. The ZOPO Flash X1 comes in Coral blue, Alien black and Citrine gold colour variants. We can expect it sometime in October.
