ZTE introduced ZTE Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite in last year’s MWC. We were expecting Blade V8 but somewhat strangely ZTE announced Blade V7 Plus. ZTE’s latest affordable smartphone Blade V7 Plus is an upgrade over Blade V7. The Blade V7 Plus is company’s affordable premium 4G (4G/3G/2G) Android smartphone with metal uni-body design.
Talking about specifications of ZET Blade V7 Plus, it comes with 5.2 inches 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) IPS LCD display, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 16 GB ROM (11.2 GB available for the user) and microSD card support for further memory expansion. The smartphone also has fingerprint scanner on the back, below the 13 MP camera setup. On the front it has 5 MP camera. Disappointingly the smartphone is powered by an old octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and runs on Android 6 (Marshmallow) out of the box. Also we don’t know ZTE Blade V7 will ever get taste of Android Nougat in the future. The smartphone has 2,540 mAh Li-ion non user replaceable battery.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, A-GPS, Bluetooth v4 LE (Low Energy), microUSB (no USB Type-c), 3.5 mm headphone jack and FM Radio.
ZTE Blade V7 Plus available in two colors, Platinum Grey and Ion Gold. The smartphone had already hit the shelves in Russia and Australia.
