Its been approximately less than 24 hours, Google announced the Android Version 4.3, at an event yesterday, and Sony has already made plans for updates on their devices. In a  blog post, they confirmed the Android 4.3 update for their latest smartphones in the market. And devices namely are:
- Xperia Z Ultra ( Not Released yet)
- Xperia Z
- Xperia ZL
- Xperia ZR
- Xperia SP
- Xperia Z tablet
However no time span for roll out of the updates have been announced. Also they have planned to update some devices from 4.1 to 4.3 directly to make out for the late updates in some devices. However those devices from 4.1 to 4.3 have not been specified in the post, but certainly they might be done soon, as seeing the records of the company with the updates. Also the company posted a video on youtube of Android 4.3 running on Xperia Z Tablet, on the AOSP version.
However the hardcore users, who have unlocked the bootloader, may download the file here, and flash the ROM manually to enjoy, if they do not want to wait for the updates.Though it is missing some essential files, like some Google apps and custom software of Sony, as it takes time to get things in place to build the update files. But if you are really desperate to try the new version out, you could do it.
