Micromax should now be satisfied with its strategy of launching an ultra affordable 4G smartphone. The Android powered Bharat-2 smartphone by Micromax launched in April this year, is quite well doing in the market. The company, today has proudly announced that it had sold 2 million Bharat-2 devices since it hit the shelves.
Earlier, Micromax had reported that nearly half million Bharat-2 smartphones were sold within 45 days of its launch. And, the latest report is another proof that the device is very well received by the common Indians.
New Sets Of Bharat Devices On The Way
Moreover, to mark its success in Bharath series initiative. Micromax also shared its plan of launching new three more Bharat smartphones. Namely, the Bharat-2 Plus, Bharat-3, and Bharat-4 are all set to go on sale within couple of weeks.
In addition, by launching the new sets of Bharat devices. Micromax intends to improve the overall device architecture. The company said that, it would bring a better camera, battery and display options for the new smartphone users.
According to Micromax, The upcoming Bharat-3 and Bharat-4 phones flaunts extra capabilities and features like Smart Key, 22 Indian language support, OTG support and all under affordable price tag. Whereas, the Bharat 2 Plus boards a 5MP rear camera, 1600 mAh battery and latest Android N out of the box to name some.

After all, since the effectively free JioPhone has arrived. It won’t be an easy go for the upcoming Bharat devices by Micromax. Anyway, there is gonna be a great competition in the Indian market under the budget-range segment.
