Yesterday, we read news about Samsung planning to start work on a round-faced smartwatch and even some sketches of what the upcoming smartwatch from the Korean smartphone manufacturing giant could look like. Tday, we have some more news that you could relate to the round-faced smartwatch.
Samsung has trademarked the Gear S name. The patent was filed by the Korean giants in USA at the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s in Alexendria the past week on July 22nd.
There still is no official conformation on what exactly is this Gear S going to be and we’re not likely to get any as Samsung probably would keep the covers on this one. But our guess is the round-faced smartwatch that you read about yesterday. Again, these are just guesses and take them with a pinch of salt but don’t be surprised if you see the round smartwatch coming out soon under the Gear S banner.
