Google has already updated Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X to the Android latest 7.0 Nougat last month. Now it’s time for Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 LTE as promised by the Company. So now the HTC-manufactured tablet Nexus 9 LTE  has also officially started getting Nougat.
The Update comes with the Build Number NRD90R. This update includes all the Android Nougat Goodies like Advanced Penalization and Chatting Experiance,  advance Productivity with the multi window, Direct Reply and Quick Switch, in Security the new feature includes the Seamless updates, Direct Boot and File-based encryption etc. The update is also includes the Android Security patch for the month of September.
As this is the OTA update so it may take some time to reach you. But Google did not make Factory images public yet. So you have to wait for the update till  the OTA notifications comes on your Nexus 9 LTE.
