Honor 7X is now official with 18:9 display, dual rear cameras

Huawei has officially announced Honor 7X as the latest addition to its Honor sub-brand series of smartphones. It is the successor to Honor 6X which was released back in 2016. Honor 7X was spotted on Geekbench and TENAA Listings just last month. The smartphone has a metal unibody design and will be available Black and Matte Blue color options. Honor 7X features a 5.93-inch 18:9 display with pixel resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.

The handset is powered by Kirin 659 octa-core processor, with four cores clocked at 2.36 GHz and the other four cores clocked at 1.7 GHz. Honor 7X comes with a combination of 4 GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The smartphone boasts dual rear cameras (16MP + 2MP). On the front, it carries an 8MP camera for selfie enthusiasts. The device packs a decent 3,340mAh battery and ships with Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 skin on the top.
