LG G6 running on Android 8.0 Oreo spotted on GeekBench


The flagship device of LG i.e LG G6 spotted on GeekBench running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. Listing on GeekBench reveals that LG has started testing Android Oreo on LG G6. However, it will be rolled out in near future.

Oreo-powered LG G6LG G6 running on Android 8.0 Oreo has 1858 Single-Core Score and 4137 Multi-Core Score. The phone was launched back in February 2017 with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. But now this is a good news for users of LG G6 because the company is yet announce Android Oreo update plan. But now it seems that LG G6 will get Android 8.0 Update by the end of this year.

For Reminder, LG G6 sports a 5.7-inch QHD+ Full Vision Display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels. The handset is powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC paired with 4 GB of RAM and 32GB ROM with microSD support. LG G6 sports 13MP + 13MP dual-rear cameras with 5MP front-facing camera. It packs a 3,300mAh battery with wireless charging support and comes with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
