As the release date is just around the corner, we need not wait for long to get specific details about the upcoming device. In order to expand its portfolio, Motorola is expected to launch a series of smartphones this year. The upcoming smartphone will be one of the offerings Motorola has in store for 2017. Whether the device would be Moto G5S series or Moto Z2 Play, we know a bit about both smartphones.
Moto G5S and G5S Plus will be powered by Snapdragon 630 or 660 SoC. Both the devices are expected to feature 1080p displays. Moto G5S Plus could be first handset from Motorola to pack a dual-rear camera setup. Both Moto G5S and G5S Plus run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Moto Z2 Play is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable via a MicroSD card). The device sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED FHD display. It comes with a 12-megapixel rear snapper alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Moto Z2 Play packs a smaller 3000mAh battery when compared to its predecessor, Moto Z Play that houses a large 3510mAh battery. The phone will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and supports Moto Mods.
