Finally, Nokia has started to push the Android Oreo Stable update for the Nokia 5. The Finnish company has already provided the updates for other models in its lineup. Yesterday, Nokia 6 received the update with the latest Android version. The latest offering from Google packs many new features and advancements over the Nougat. All the new features are now on a roll on Nokia 5 devices.
Users who own Nokia 5 can check for the udapote buy heading over to the settings panel on your smartphone. We suggest you to switch to the WiFi network before downloading the update. Also, make sure your battery is charged upto atleast 70% percent.
Today, Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global tweeted that “Sweeter and Smoother. The #Nokia5 and #Nokia6 are officially joining the #AndroidOreo family.”
The update is rolling out in phases and it may take some time to reach you.
Nokia 5, Nokia 6 update is on the roll while Nokia 3 and Nokia 2 have to wait for the update.
Additionally, Nokia 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 430 paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB of Internal Storage. Talking about the camera, it carries a 16MP main rear camera and a 13MP front-facing snapper.
