OnePlus 2 getting Oxygen OS 3.6.0 update with June 2017 Security patch

OnePlus 2 has started to receive the Oxygen OS 3.6.0 with June Security Patch embedded in it. Some of the users have started receiving the new update on their devices but some are still looking for it. OnePlus is rolling out the update but due to certain limitations, it take some time to reach everyone.

Well, OnePlus had already made an announcement that this device is not going to get Android 7.0 Nougat updat. The new Oxygen OS 3.6.0 update has brought in some fixes and performance tweaks which has overall fixed some common problems that users were getting.

It fixes the 4G Volte issue being faced by users in India which was preventing the device from automatically registering itself on 4G networks. In Turkey, the errors regarding the time zone has been fixed.

In many ways this model resembles it it’s predecessor- the OnePlus One. It has a 5.5-inch LTPS LCD display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The devices comes with 3GB RAM with 16GB internal flash memory and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal flash memory, 13 MP back camera with a dual-LED flash and laser autofocus and has a battery of 3,300mAh.

You can check the the update from the “About Phone” section of your device. Within the coming few days this update is going to reach all OnePlus 2 devices.
