Earlier, Huawei had confirmed the launch of the new generation of its P-Series flagships set for March 27. The venue will be the iconic museum and exhibition hall of Paris, the Grand Palais. Though the Chinese tycoon haven’t explicitly revealed the name of the devices during media invitation, we expect one of them to be none other than the Huawei P20. Similarly, Huawei might have a lighter variant of the P20 on its menu too as per the tradition. And, the newly surfaced protective cases for Huawei P20 Lite have the exactly same to say.
Unlike its larger sibling, the P20 Lite is highlighted to have a dual-camera setup. Recall, the standard P20 is highly speculated to come boasting a first ever triple camera setup on a smartphone. Capable of 5X hybrid (optical and digital) zoom with combined resolution of 40MP. After all, it won’t be odd enough if the firm has gone for a rather common dual-camera setup on the lighter variant.
Additionally, the cases reveal rear positioned fingerprint scanner of the P20 Lite. As you can see the cut out for the scanner is clear enough on the protective case images. However, it look likes the device would have a slightly thicker top and bottom bezels. Apparently, a large deviation from the current affinity for bezel-less devices.
Well, the legitimacy of the leak is still questionable. If by chance it proves to be true, we could expect the P20 Lite launch to happen alongside its larger sibling, the P20.
