Xiaomi is expected to expand the Redmi series portfolio by launching Redmi 5 and its derivatives soon. Lately, so many leaks and renders have already surfaced online that hinted the existence of Redmi 5 series in Xiaomi’s warehouse. If those have to be believed, Xiaomi could launch Redmi 5, 5 Plus and Note 5 in coming days. Already, we have received the Redmi 5A before any other device of this series. And now, a new couple of alleged real images of the Redmi 5 Plus is wandering over the web.


The Real Life images of Redmi 5 Plus though is of medium quality, it’s enough to perceive the overall design of the device. Interestingly, the device flaunts an almost Full-Screen display with minimal bezels in the images. Apparently, for the first time Xiaomi’s going to introduce the bezel-less trend to the Redmi devices with the Redmi 5. The device seems to possess a more rounded edges, contrary to the sharp edges seen in current Redmi phones.

Rumored Redmi 5 Plus specs

The Redmi 5 Plus is speculated to be powered by a Snapdragon 625 Mobile Platform. For smooth multitasking it has got 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device is said to be equipped with a 5.99-inch 18:9 full-screen FHD display. It might house a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie snapper. Pricing may be nearly 1099 yuan ($166) in Chinese market.

The three upcoming Redmi series, Redmi 5, 5 Plus and Note 5 are expected to be officially unveiled on November 11.
