Samsung Galaxy S10 5G release slated for April 5

At the Samsung Unpacked 2019 event, Samsung had a multitude of devices to unveil to the world. All the way from three new S10 devices to the Industry’s first foldable device, the event set a milestone in the history of Samsung. The Korean giant also gave us a sneak peek of what it called the Galaxy S10 5G, it is the 5G enabled version of the Galaxy S10 family. Now, Samsung confirmed that the S10 5G will be officially released on April 5.

The Galaxy S10 5G is the most premium device among the S10 devices, so is its limited availability. Samsung will be launching the device in only few markets, starting from its home town South-Korea on April 5. Later on, it may expand to other developed nations where 5G network commercialization can take place soon.

As per a news report, there will not be any pre-order program for the device. Highly likely, the Galaxy S10 5G release in the United States too can happen in April. Initially, it will be exclusive to Verizon in the country, since the carrier has confirmed that its mobile 5G network will launch on April 11.

If the table doesn’t turn, the Galaxy S10 5G will be the first device with the integrated 5G modem to hit the shelves. Like the recently launched Galaxy S10s, the S10 5G too will be powered by the Snapdragon 855.
