Samsung rolling out Sept Security Patch on Galaxy A8 and A6

Samsung starts rolling out September security patch for its Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A6. Although its Mid-October now, but still the mid-range Samsung phones are getting security patches on regular basis. The last patch was rolled out on Galaxy A8 is August Security Patch in last month.

The Update comes with the firmware version A530FXXS3BRJ1 on Samsung Galaxy A8 and A600FNXXU3ARJ1 on Samsung Galaxy A6. The September security patch packs with 64 fixes for the Android OS and 18 fixes are added for Samsung’s own vulnerable places, which include a leak in the software of the clipboard. Other than this there is not much in the update for both the phones.

The update is currently rolling out in Europe. It will soon get rolled out in other markets. If the update notification is not popped up on your phone. Don’t panic it will be there in a couple of days, and if you want to check it manually. You can go through the settings>>About Phone>> software updates.

Meanwhile, if you get the update do charge your phone up to 50 % before start installing the update.
