Sony begins rolling out the Android Marshmallow update for its Xperia Z2, Z3, Z3 Compact and Xperia Z2 Tablet in India. Earlier company has rolled out the marshmallow update in other major markets like its home country and UK.
The update will provide all the basic features of Android Marshmallow such as Now On Tap, Doze which reduces the power consumption when the phone is not in use,App Permissions that allows the user to have more control over their apps, the update also adds all new camera interface to switch between different modes and customize setting by simple gestures,it also has Xperia messaging within app easy access to stickers and Direct Share to share recent activities with friends,recent contacts and app lists.

Although, company has started rolling out process, but it may take a few days to reach you. If you did not get the OTA notification yet, then do check it manually by going through the Settings>>About Device>> Check for Updates.
