With the new update, Verizon has resolved certain call related bugs on the three smartphones. Verizon also fixed the problem with playing ring back tones when calls are made to non-Verizon devices.

Verizon is rolling out the update over the air (OTA). Users of above mentioned smartphones can wait for an update notification or one can manually check for update by going to the “About Phone” section of the Settings and selecting “Check for Updates”. We will recommend you to connect with good Wi-Fi network and fully charge your smartphone before initiating the update process.

Samsung launched Galaxy S5, Note 4 and Note Edge in the year 2015. The smartphones were launched with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and later updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The devices will not receive Android 7.0 Nougat update. Still users can update their smartphones with unofficial custom ROMs.
