Vivo has recently presented its first-rate Vivo V9 Youth handset in India, the prime advantage of the device is its Bezel-less display but don’t bother as we are not here to tell you that old tale. In this specific write-up, we are here to tell you about the new Vivo Y53i, this is new device launched by Vivo India. Considering on paper specs the device appears to be a budget targeted one. So without wasting any time let’s know more about it.
Firstly Vivo hasn’t created any buzz for this handset they silently launched it without even advertising it. The handset comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425(64 bit) Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.4 Ghz coupled with 2GB of RAM along with an Adreno 306 GPU for Gaming. We are happy to see that this time Vivo has gone with a Qualcomm SoC. The device offers 16 GB of internal storage expandable up to 64 GB’s via micro-SD card.
The device has first made its appearance on the twitter account of Mahesh Telecom(a Smartphone retailer). That specific image has informed us about the box mentioned specs of the device. Vivo Y53i sports a 5.0(inch) TFT Display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels which is just indigestible. In the Camera department, it offers an 8MP rear snapper with LED Flash whereas for selfies there is a 5MP shooter. The device comes with a Uni-body design which undoubtedly is appreciable. Y53i runs on a 2500 mAh battery and comes with Vivo’s homegrown FunTouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
All other basic connectivity options including 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2 is available in this though the Fingerprint Scanner is missing. The device is available at local retailers for a price tag of 7,990 INR. To be true you can get even better specs on a Redmi 5A device which costs 5,999 INR. So buying it or not is up to your personal preference.
