Xiaomi doesn’t have a lot of its home built apps on the Play Store. Now, with the change in trends, they have considered this as a beginning with the Mi Calculator App. Well, it’s a good start that Xiaomi starts getting its MIUI apps on to the Google’s marketplace for smooth updates. It’s not a big breakthrough app but it does have a good set of features that will appeal to power users.
Among leading functions, the app has regular calculations as well as scientific. Users can do trigonometric, logarithmic, algebra functions. Users can check recent history of calculations, which we find a very useful feature.
Moreover, it has a currency converter that gets updated daily, so that is an added bonus. Mi also takes care to include a mortgage calculator to find the exact payments that will have to be made.
The app is minimalistic and is obviously lag free. Notwithstanding the hundreds of options available on the Play Store, this will appeal to MIUI users specifically. Those that are using Xiaomi’s proprietary skin will definitely like the debutant app.
The app will work with Android devices above v4.1. The debut comes ahead of an impending arrival of the Google Play Store to China.
